I'll try to get to all of you over time, patience please. :)

I chose this one because of your focus on light and shadow - I'd like to see you work more with that. I know you're trying to go for a cartoony style here, but learn your basics - anatomy/proportions are a big thing I'd suggest you look into. Doing this will give your pictures more of a 'solid' feel, like they're really occupying a space, rather than just flat images. Practice practice practice!

What I particularly like about this one is how different it is from the rest of your gallery. It's really neat to see an artist flex their creative muscle and try things they normally wouldn't do. The framing on this one is even cooler, I'd love to see more like this. What I'd suggest for you focuses on your digital paintings - right now a lot of it is all painted similarly. For example, cloth and skin are given the same paint treatment, when they should visually look different in how they reflect light and color. Do a few fabric and skin studies, then apply that to your paintings. :D

Wowee wow wow what do I even critique here? Nytrinhia, I've loved poking through your gallery for a while. Your environments especially blow my mind, and your attention to detail is amazing! You have a solid sense of form and anatomy, nail those dynamic angles, and understand how to use color. What I'd love to see from you is more variety in body shapes. For the most part, going through your gallery I see a lot of idealized forms. Throw in someone overweight, or short, or so elderly they're creeping on crippled. Honestly that's really all I can think of! You continue to impress me with every new piece you upload, and I look forward to seeing more from you. <3

First of all I'd like to say how impressed I am with how you both have improved since I was lucky enough to get Sheik&Sheba fanart from you. You have a nice fluidity in your sketches especially, and I like how that translates to the comic page I linked here. I see you both experimenting with foreshortening here and there and body poses, and I'd like to see you keep doing that. Right now some of the proportions are a little awkward here and there, but that will come easier with practice. Study from life! Whip out an anatomy book and really look at how the muscles work. Even if you are shooting for a cartoony style you'd be amazed at how having that knowledge translates into your cartoon work. I'd also like to add that I enjoy your color choices so far, and usually I'm really nitpicky about that. Good job, keep going!

I liked this one because of the limited palette you chose and the strong lights/darks - you always want to try to get that in an image, it really makes it pop. Plus, the pose feels a lot more solid in this one, it really gives you a feel for the character. Study some anatomy and really look from references and life at how the body works - there are subtleties that are easy to miss otherwise.

I really enjoy the characters you make, and the variety of them you have. Short, tall, small, old, young, large and thin! That's something that a lot of artists don't experiment with. Not to mention each one has really strong personality in their design, silhouettes and poses. What I would critique mainly for you is work on making their forms more solid. They have strong shapes, but they're flat and lacking a 'presence' in the spaces you create. Even if 2d, try to think three dimensionally in your drawing to give it that solid feeling. But seriously I can't wait to see more of your characters!

pretty good advise. its easy to get stuck in autopilot, I'll certainly take that advise, both trying the looser style more and doing some skin, fabric and light studies
