I hope you won't find it offensive, but i find this one to be really inspiring. I can see you was pretty good through most of the years, but all those drawings didn't have this "thing", and two last years are just amazing, clean lines, glowing colours, and magical details, everything! Which means a lot to me personally, because I'm 25 now and I was feeling my whole life my art is missing something and I was SOOO close to giving up, I mean, what more can you achieve after 9 years since I started drawing? And now, BOOM! you upload this and show me that it still could come after time. Thank you!
Seeing this. It's amazing. You're amazing. It was so beautiful and inspiring. Made me tear up. Have you always known what you wanted to do? Can you go back to old styles? I mean, are you capable of doing all of them still? Either way this is beautiful~
Personally, yes, its always been my goal to work as an artist. I know that sounds stereotypical but literally the earliest memory I have is crawling out of bed with a red sharpie and drawing all over my woody woodpecker dresser.
I've gone back to old styles here and there to see how they translate in a more refined manner and it seems like I can do so easily enough.
Interesting... truly interesting... I have jet to see that movie you made art of in 2010 though.. I also like the "feels" of 2003 and 2005, it's rivetting... Alas for me :3 It's good to see how you improve on your skill, these things nicely show that. And fine commentary, I say!
How do you feel about this trip? and how does it feel to go on with it after doing this? 'Jus curious :3
I still like a lot from those years, though the styles are utterly different. Thank you though!
How do I feel? Hm...well, I can at least say I have made progress and have definitely dabbled in everything - which is what I want to do. Though I personally would wish I could improve and progress faster.
One can only do so much eh ^^ I think you progress well though, I've seen people sticking to their old duds for years and progress much slower... Also, do you also play instruments on top of this once in a while or don't you feel much for doing something in that art side?
I do actually! I've been poking at violin for a bit. I'm not very good but I have the basics. Its hard to find time/get lessons with work, but online lessons do wonders too! I also swing dance. If that counts as something artsy besides drawing.
Oh no, dancin is mighty fine - Great deal of culture is centered around it so I think it does count. (also, you have those "art dancers..." However I myself have never really learned dancing... I only remember from what I've seen and try to put something real in it instead of most people just being random 'n all. But a real dance, like the tango... never done it I think.
My brother played the voilin, though he didn't like it very much ^^" He also played piano just like me, though later than me and for just one year (while I do 10 and still going). Sad thing was though, he managed to play a 7 page song outta his head while I could just do one a bit more complex of 5 pages. I already had a few years behind me, so it saddens me that because of lack of time he couldn't study it anymore. I keep at in no matter what since music is vitally immportant to me and well... I love me a tune 'o the old rag times ^^
About those online lessons, he now tries at the guitar via those online lessons and it sounds pretty good... So, what songs have you played up till now? More classical (befitting the voilin) or blues maybe? (-is that even possible on a violin...?)
I do genuinely love how varied all these pictures are. It's wonderful to see so many different styles explored when a lot of these memes just seem to be "different forms of anime faces". KEEP GOING, YOU ARE AMAZING.
I definately like the last two years the best, it's more stylized and clean and alot less 'grimy' not sure if that's the right word or not but the early years were all super-dark, weird, and messy and the last few years are just.. silent, beautiful and a little loney (that's just what they remind me of) i like it
